My fascination with Chainmail and Patterns

The difference between a Craft and an Art is that in crafting you repeat a pattern for your creation, and the piece you create is a work of skill and dedication to details. Art is totally new and avoids patterns.

I have practiced the craft of Chainmail since 2011, when a student suggested I would be very interested in it. Chain mail, also known as chainmaille, is a traditional craft of interlocking metal rings to create a fabric or mesh-like material. Historically, chainmail was used as armor by warriors, protecting them from swords and arrows. Today, chainmail is used in a variety of ways, from fashion to jewelry-making to decorative art. Crafting chainmail requires patience and skill, as each ring must be carefully added and opened without damaging the metal or the pattern being created. The final product is a stunning mesh of interlocking rings that can be customized with different colors, patterns, and metals to create unique and eye-catching items. At Quantum Rings Chainmail Creations, we take pride in preserving this ancient craft and creating beautiful pieces of wearable art.
